Why do I need a business account and how do I register for one?

A business account is required to perform several actions on our website such as showcasing your businesses, claiming a business as your own, posting an ad, and much more. Here’s how you can register as a business user:

  • Click on Join Now tab and select Register as Business

  • Complete the form and click Submit Now

  • It’s as easy as that! Your business account will be ready to use.

If your business is already on the website, please claim it first (See “How can I claim my business?”), if not, adding a business is simple following these steps:

  • Log in using your business account

  • Click Profile > Add Business

  • Fill out the required form and click Save Changes

  • We will review your request

If you would like to remove your business from our directory, complete the following steps:

  • Log in to your business account

  • Click Profile

  • Click on theMy Business tab that is located under your profile image

  • Click on the red-colored cross icon in front of the business you would like to delete.

  • Confirm your choice.

  • You may also email support@localbest.com.

Updating your business info can be done by completing the following steps:

  • Log in to your business account

  • Click Profile

  • Click on the My Business tab found under your profile image

  • Click on the pencil icon in front of the business you would like to edit.

  • Make the needed modifications to your listing

  • Click Save Changes

If you’re an award-winner, you get exclusive access to a large selection of products and promotional ideas. These products showcase your business award and allows your business to stand out from your competition. Ultimately these products will help grow your business and can help better your chances of keeping your title for next year by alerting your customers about our company.

If you are not an award-winner, you have access to a select number of products that will help promote awareness for your business on LocalBest. Don’t worry, each year is a new vote with all businesses starting at zero on June 1st. Only the best of the best are dynasties winning year after year!

Local Best products can be purchased by completing the following steps:

  • Scroll to the bottom of our page and click Our Our Offerings which can be found under Business Features

  • Select your desired product(s) from Our Offerings

  • Click View Details > Pay Now

  • Fill out the form and click Submit

Yes! There are three different business plans to choose from if you are a business owner:

  • Free

  • Basic

  • Deluxe

To upgrade your plan, go to Profile > My Plan and follow the procedure.

Ads are a great way to reach out to more customers and clients. They can help you give offers, discounts, and promote your business in many ways. To post an ad complete the following steps:-

  • Log in to your business account

  • Click on Profile > Add Ads

  • Fill out the form and click Save Changes

  • Your ad will be posted on your cities business page.

  • You may also email sales@localbest.com

Claiming a business is very simple! Just follow these instructions

  • Log into your business account

  • Open your business page and click on the Claim the Business button

  • This will add the business to our Claim List for review

Why do I need a user account?

A user account in needed to perform several actions on our website. User accounts can cast votes, post reviews, and give ratings to your desired businesses.

How do I register for a user account?

Here’s how you can create a user account:

  • Click on Join Now > Register User

  • Complete the form and click Submit Now

  • It’s as easy as that! Your user account is ready

If you would like to use your Facebook account while accessing localbest.com, click the Log in button at the top of the screen and select Continue with Facebook

To find businesses across different cities, complete the following steps:

  • Type the city you’re trying to locate in the search bar on our homepage

  • Select the category and subcategory you are interested in

  • This will take you to businesses defined in the categories of your choosing

To cast votes for your favorite businesses, you must log in to your account. Once logged in, open your favorite business page and click the Vote button in front of its name.

An alternate way of voting would be to click the vote button at the top of the webpage. Select a category or subcategory, choose a business, and click Next (or Skip if you don’t find your desired business on the current page). Your vote will be saved in your profile.

Please note: If you receive the message “You can only vote for businesses in your city.” Follow the steps in FAQ “Which location (city) can I vote for as a user?

*Voting is limited to the location (city) selected and one vote in each sub-category per year.

Head to your Profile and click Custom Locations. Here you can set a new location and save changes.

Making changes to your profile can be done by clicking on Profile > Edit Profile. Things that you can change on your profile are your picture, region, about, contact number, and address.

Adding a review is a good way to share your values opinions and experiences at businesses in your community. To leave a review, complete the following steps:

  • Log in to your user account

  • Open a category > subcategory and click your desired business

  • On the business page, there will be a button that says Write a Review under the business info

  • Give your rating and post your review

To add a business to your Favorite list, open a business page and click Add Favorite under the business info.

To delete a business from your Favorite list, go to your Profile and click Favorite Business List List. Now, click on the red-colored cross icon in front of the business you would like to delete.

You can only vote for businesses in the location (city) you’ve selected under your Profile > Custom Locations (or the one that the website took automatically by detecting your IP address). This can be changed so if you live in a suburb or have moved and want to vote in a different city or new city, please select that custom location by going to your Profile > Custom Locations and change the State and City. Please leave your Full Address as your correct mailing address.

No, once you have cast a vote, it is saved in your Profile > Vote Report. This list cannot be changed. Each year voting ends on May 31st.

No, it is not mandatory that votes be cast in all categories. However, you are encouraged to vote for the businesses you are familiar with and have used in your community over the past year.
